Eligibility and authority

Services are available to individuals and entities that can lawfully enter into binding agreements in Singapore. You represent that you are authorized to provide any personal information submitted and that you meet applicable age and legal capacity requirements to enter into consultations.

Clients must be of legal age and capacity to enter into insurance contracts in Singapore. If you act on behalf of another person, you represent that you have the authority to do so.

You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and not for any fraudulent, unlawful or abusive actions, including misrepresentation during application processes.

Maravine provides services from Singapore and may limit services where export or local law restricts provision. Access to certain features may be restricted by geography or regulatory regime.

User accounts and registration

When you register for an account or otherwise provide personal data to Maravine, you are responsible for maintaining accurate information and for all activity conducted through your account.

Ensure that information you provide is accurate and up to date. Incorrect or incomplete information can affect the suitability assessments and advice we provide.

Protect your account credentials and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. We deploy technical and organizational measures to protect systems, but account security also depends on your practices.

Accounts and credentials are personal and non-transferable unless expressly agreed in writing by Maravine.

If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at +6583239613 and [email protected] so we can take steps to secure the account and contribute.

We may suspend or restrict accounts where there is suspected misuse, security risk, or breach of these terms. We will provide notice where practicable and as required by law.

Scope of services

Maravine provides expert insurance consulting services, including needs assessment, comparative policy analysis, and assistance with insurer communications. Our services are advisory; we analyze available options and document recommendations to support informed client decisions.

We may modify, add, or remove services from time to time. Changes will be communicated via our website and, where appropriate, by direct notification to affected clients.

We aim to make services available continuously during published hours, but availability depends on third-party systems and regulatory constraints. Occasional maintenance or interruptions may occur; we will schedule planned maintenance with notice where practical.

User obligations and prohibited activities

When using Maravine services, you agree to comply with these behavioral and operational rules to protect the service environment and other users.

  • Provide accurate and complete information relevant to insurance needs and risk factors.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt or interfere with service operations, including denial-of-service attacks or unauthorized access attempts.
  • Avoid submitting fraudulent documentation or misrepresenting facts to insurers or Maravine.
  • Respect confidentiality of other clients and do not attempt to access their information.
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulatory requirements in all communications and transactions.
  • Use the platform only for its intended insurance consulting purposes and not for unrelated commercial activities.
  • Report suspected security incidents or policy breaches promptly to Maravine.

Client content and submissions

Materials you provide to Maravine during consultations—such as medical history, business data, and documentation—remain subject to confidentiality and processing for advisory purposes.

You retain ownership of original documents and data you submit. By providing content, you grant Maravine the rights necessary to process, analyze, and share with insurers and service providers for the purposes of delivering consulting services.

You grant Maravine a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and process content you submit solely to provide services and to perform related administrative tasks.

You are responsible for ensuring that content you submit is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe third-party rights. Misleading or false information may affect policy outcomes and our ability to assist effectively.

Requests to remove content will be considered in accordance with our privacy policies and legal obligations. Removal may be limited where retention is required by law or necessary for contractual obligations.

Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in Maravine's materials, methodologies, reports, templates and platform content remain the exclusive property of Maravine or its licensors. You may use delivered materials for your personal or organizational insurance planning but may not reproduce or redistribute them externally without permission.

  • Do not copy, adapt, or redistribute Maravine proprietary materials for commercial purposes without a written licence.
  • Do not remove proprietary notices or markings from any materials provided by Maravine.
  • Do not reverse-engineer or attempt to extract underlying methods or algorithms from our tools or reports.

Paid services and fees

Certain advisory services, bespoke reports, or facilitator services may incur fees. Fees are set out in engagement letters or price lists provided before service commencement.

Pricing is based on the scope of work, complexity, and time required. Quotes provided are subject to change if the scope materially changes, subject to notice and agreement.

Payments are accepted by the methods specified in an engagement agreement. Invoices are payable within the terms set out in the invoice. Late payments may lead to suspension of services.

Where subscription services apply, recurring fees and billing cycles will be stated in the subscription terms. Clients may cancel subscriptions in accordance with the stated cancellation procedure.

Refunds for paid services are handled on a case-by-case basis and depend on the nature of the service and the timing of the request. We will assess refund requests objectively and in accordance with contractual terms.

Clients may cancel engagements following the cancellation provisions in their agreement. Fees for work completed up to the cancellation point may remain due.

All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Clients are responsible for any local taxes or duties arising from the engagement.

Maravine may adjust pricing for new engagements or renewals. Existing agreements are subject to the terms agreed at inception unless both parties agree to amend them.

Failure to pay fees may result in suspension or termination of services. Maravine may pursue outstanding amounts through appropriate channels.

Professional disclaimer

Our recommendations are based on the information you provide and our professional assessment. Advice is intended to inform decision-making and should be considered alongside any insurer disclosures, policy terms, and independent legal or business advice where appropriate.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maravine's liability for any loss arising in connection with our services is limited to direct damages up to the amounts paid for the services in question. We are not liable for indirect, special or consequential losses, except as required by applicable law.

Third-party providers

We may rely on third-party insurers, administrators, and technology providers to deliver aspects of our services. Where we engage third parties, we seek to ensure appropriate controls and contractual protections are in place; however, Maravine is not responsible for the internal practices of those third parties beyond the contractual commitments we make.

Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement in accordance with the termination provisions of the engagement agreement. Maravine may also suspend access for breaches of these terms or for legal or regulatory reasons.

On termination, outstanding fees and obligations survive. We will cease processing personal data retained for service provision, subject to legal retention requirements, and will follow agreed data return or deletion procedures where applicable.

Privacy and data protection

Our collection and processing of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, retain and share personal data in the context of insurance consulting and related services.

Communications and notices

Notices may be delivered by email, post, or through the Maravine platform. Legal notices and contractual communications will be sent to the contact details you provide. Review and update your contact details to ensure receipt.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. Updates are effective upon posting; material changes will be communicated to clients where required.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore and any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of Singapore courts, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Dispute resolution

If a dispute arises, parties will attempt to resolve it in good faith through negotiation. Where negotiation is unsuccessful, disputes may proceed to mediation or litigation in Singapore as set out in the governing law clause.
